This trace heating kit is the ideal solution to prevent pipes from freezing. By using a self-regulating trace heating cable, the system prevents overheating and ensures efficient operation by limiting its output per metre through the use of a variable resistive compound.
All of our frost protection kits come complete with a built-in thermostat to ensure that the trace heating system only operates when required to stop pipes from freezing throughout the winter and remains dormant during the summer.
Each frost protection kit consists of:
- Pre-terminated trace heating cable
- Built-in thermostat
- 2 meters of power cable (cold lead)
- Warning labels
- Cable ties
- 13-amp, 3-pin plug
